About the Event
In the past months, we had a hard time not enjoying nature as we wanted, seeing our friends as we wanted and being part of creative and mindful communities as we wanted. We are tired of spending our time in front of the computer.
That is why we, Joanna from Green Sessions Berlin / Terapia Fotografia and Katja from Mindflexible,
are joining forces for a new outdoor experience to re-connect to ourselves and the world around us.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
... enjoy a grounding, yet inspiring and playful experience in the park ... explore the technique of mindful nature photography
... invite a new routine to bring joy and gratitude into your daily life
HOW IT WILL GO
- 2 blocks of meditation exercises, each about 15 min
- 2 blocks of mindful photography exercises, each about 20 min
- sharing your experience with the group (if you like)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The group size is limited to a maximum of 12 people. If you are interested please book your free ticket.
We would like to ask you to let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make it to the event, so we can give your spot to the next person on the waiting list. As we practise mindfulness and get in touch with our inner world, please note that this event is not made for therapeutic purposes. If you want to attend please be cautious with yourself. This event follows the approach of Pay As You Feel. We want to make this kind of educational experience as accessible as possible. Everyone who is giving us some donation ensures that we can repeat and develop this event.
We like to think that this makes people consider the true value and allows everybody to take part in the learning together experience. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
* Camera phones to DSLRs all welcome. The session is suitable for all levels of ability.
* Blanket, yoga mat, meditation cushion (we will bring some, but better to bring your own)
* Something to drink
* Depending on the weather: warm clothes, sun protection
If the weather will be not suitable, the event will be cancelled.
ABOUT US JOANNA FURGAL Joanna combines the love for photography with a passion for learning development through being a trained Points of You® workshop provider. For the last 20 years, she supports people and works internationally as a facilitator – trainer and photographer. She uses therapeutic photography to develop soft skills, team building, leadership, self-confidence and creativity programs. Joanna is a nature admirer, a community builder, co-founder of Terapia Fotografia and founder of Green Sessions Berlin. She loves to support others through creating and teaching workshop and sessions about the healing aspects of photography.
KATJA WÖHL Katja is becoming a certified mindfulness coach for self-compassion and stress management by August 2021.
While she is still in the 2-year mindfulness coach program she already founded her own community, mindflexible, where she is hosting regular meditation classes and workshops. After several years in business consultancy, she has developed a facilitation style that is marked by empathy, curiosity and humour. Going through a family crisis 6 years ago Katja started to learn about reason and relief of emotional suffering. Mindfulness radically shifted her perspective - on her relationships, job and self-perception. Now, she loves to provide the opportunity to other people to gain new perspectives.
